The installation of a stretch ceiling requires just two key components, each equally crucial to the overall result. The membrane, which covers approximately 95% of the room, is the most visible and therefore a central element. Its quality must be flawless. As installers, we don’t produce the membrane ourselves; it’s manufactured by large corporations, typically within the plastics industry. The material is delivered from their factories in rolls of various widths: 6.6 feet, 10.6 feet, or 16 feet (2 meters, 3.2 meters, or 5 meters). These rolls are distributed to numerous companies, where each adds their own harpoons to match the specific tracks they use for installation.

Since 1990, we’ve relied on a trusted European supplier to provide both the harpooned membrane and the tracks. This supplier sources from the world’s largest stretch ceiling membrane manufacturers. Though we are frequently approached by other vendors offering cheaper alternatives, we are cautious about compromising quality for lower costs.
